CLASS SPONSOR

We are so excited about the response we have received from the scrapbooking community and are so grateful that so many local scrapbook stores became sponsors of BC Crop for Kids early on in the planning stages. We truly could not put on this type of event without their support and sponsorship. Thank you.

Another store that jumped on board the BC Crop for Kids bandwagon early on was Scrapbook City in Surrey. Scrapbook City will be sponsoring and teaching a fabulous class at the event. Please check out their website here.

CLASS SPONSOR

If you received BC Crop for Kids' first newsletter a few weeks back you would have seen that we had many awesome scrapbook stores on board as class sponsors early on in the planning stages of the event. Over the coming week we will be posting announcements regarding these stores and how they plan to sponsor the event. We are very appreciative and thank all of our wonderful sponsors!!

One of the first stores to become a sponsor of BC Crop for Kids was Urban Trends Scrapbook Company in Abbotsford. Urban Trends will be sponsoring and teaching a fabulous class at the event. Please check out Urban Trends' website here.

And the winner is....

The winner of the BC Crop for Kids FIRST blog challenge is Carla R.

Carla's name was randomly drawn from all those who entered. (even though *officially* there weren't 20 entries, because Sandra's doesn't count! But we were feeling generous, and a wee bit giddy over the thought of giving stuff away, so we bent the rules in your favour. And didn't it work out well for Carla!)

Carla R., please email bccropforkids@yahoo.ca with your contact info and mailing address so we can get your prize out to you right away.

Thanks for playing along everyone. Your responses were fun to read. Enjoy your weekend.

{Blog Question of the Week} - prize to be won!

Come play with us! Here's your first chance to win a prize just for visiting the BC Crop for Kids blog. The rules are pretty simple...we'll ask a scrapbook related question, and you'll post your reply in the comments. If 20 or more people respond, we'll put all the participants names in a hat and draw for a fun prize!

Here is the question:

What was the most memorable scrapbooking event or retreat you've attended, and WHY?

Here is the prize:

2 packages of Queen & Co. Felt Fusion, self adhesive die cut felt borders (1 yard each)

Sponsoring this challenge is The Memory Workshop, the on-site store for this year's BC Crop for Kids event. The Memory Workshop is a mobile store that specializes in retreats and crops, and also offers one of Canada's most popular monthly kit clubs.

Remember, we need at least 20 participants for this challenge, so spread the word! One entry per person please. Entries will be accepted up until 7:00pm Pacific Time, Thursday March 27, 2008. The winner will be posted on or before March 28. Thanks for playing and good luck!

The BC Crop for Kids team plans to bring you more challenges on the blog between now and September. Stay tuned!
